Riverton Coastguard is a volunteer organisation providing the local boating community with a professional search and rescue service.

As a non-profit organisation, Riverton Coastguard INC receives no government support and survives on the support of Affiliate memberships, Grants Boards, Charitable Trusts,
Coastguard Lotteries, Corporate sponsorship, and most importantly the local community.

JOIN UP AS AN AFFILIATE MEMBER:

COASTGUARD BOATING EDUCATION:
Be an educated, safe, responsible boat owner/user... Courses include: Dayskippers, VHF, Boatmaster, Inboard/Outboard Maintenance, GPS, Radar.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Riverton Coastguard is always ready to welcome new volunteers, give us a call today ~ we will give you a tour of the shed and the Rescue vessels. Our volunteers are trained to a very high standard and you will join a great team!

SAFETY TIP:
Ensure that everybody aboard your vessel is wearing lifejackets at all times. The people aboard your vessel are the responsibility of the Skipper.
