Dean Forest

Dean Forest is the site of the Big Totoras Scenic Reserve, where a short walk leads to a 1,000-year-old Hall's totora tree.

A 30-minute walk leads through podocarp forests, including ancient totoras. The gravel and boardwalk track is well maintained and accessible to people of all levels of fitness.
