Wairaurahiri Jet

Fiordlands greatest jet boating adventure.
The Ultimate All Day Jet Boating.
An Intrepid 74 kilometre journey into the heart of remote Southern Fiordland National park, across mysterious Lake Hauroko (NZ's deepest), then dropping 600 feet over 27kms of rock strewn grade three rapids the the Wild Wairaurahiri River.

Travelling through the untouched world renown Waitutu Forest on the wild Wairaurahiri river, we pause to undertake a short guided nature walk through part of this enchanting forest.
On arrival at the isolated South Coast we explore the coast line and enjoy a tasty Kiwi style barbeque (lunch)at the Waitutu Lodge before we proceed on the return journey.
Due to the nature and remoteness of our adventure, our large purpose built twin Lexus V8 engine Jet boat is unequaled for your safety and comfort. We are active supporters of our local community and of ongoing concervation initiatives including the South Coast Beach clean up, South West Endangered Species Trust and our own Stoat trapping Program.
please remeber to bring warm clothing, hat, waterproof jacket, sunglasses and camera

"Your indepth knowldge of the area, animals, flora and fauna and your ability to convey it made the trip not only heart thumping but educational. It is an experience I would recommend to any one prepared to see NZ as it is rarely seen, in a way that must be as close as it would be, untouched.. yet i didn't feel my presence was invasive this is a true eco tourism adventure product. " Rachel Southland

"Jan (Honza) told us that it was probably his best experience in life."
