The Thornbury Vintage Tractor and Implement Club inc is the oldest vintage tractor club in New Zealand as it was formed over 50 years ago by the forsight of three gentlemen, following the recovery and subsequent restoration of a 1914 Avery tractor. This tractor is proudly displayed and is the flagship of the club. Various items (tractors, machinery, family mementos etc) have been collected and donated to the club over the years, which has resulted in three museum buildings being erected between the mid 60s - mid 90s. The museum is open every Sunday from 1:30 to 4:30 from Labour day weekend untill Queens birthday weekend.

After hour visits can be arranged by contacting the following numbers.
