Lake Hauroko bush walk

An easy 20-40-minute loop track passing along the shore of Lake Hauroko.

The trail loops through the bush, with good examples of native trees like silver and mountain beech, rimu, matai, and totora. Sandy beaches along the lake with good views of Fiordland National Park. The track can be muddy but is suitable for people of all fitness levels.
