Our school is a co-educational, state, full primary school, serving the Otautau Township and the surrounding rural area. The school roll fluctuates between 160 and 200.
We have a well maintained school that is well equipped, set in picturesque grounds and has access to nearby Community Swimming Pool and Sporting facilities making it a safe and attractive learning environment for children.
There are two main blocks – one has three classroom spaces, library, storage rooms and administrative facilities while the other has four classroom spaces, resource room and attached Dental Clinic. There is also a modern prefab with two classrooms. All classrooms are equipped with one or two computers which are networked and provide all classes with Internet access.
