The Ohai/Nightcaps area is very proud of its large (33 metre) heated, covered pool. It is open for use during daylight hours from around late October through to March.
Sliding doors allow the pool area to be opened out to a relaxing, enjoyable outdoor garden.
Public sessions are available at certain times most afternoons during the season. Once a week during these sessions the 'inflatable' is used in the pool. This apparatus is enjoyed immensely by both the children and the 'young at heart'. Alternatively, family or single keys can be purchased seasonally, providing users with unlimited use during daylight hours.
The pool facility can also be hired, a popular option for childrens parties.
Local coal, generously supplied by Solid Energy heats the swimming pool. Many volunteers also donate their time to help maintain and manage this wonderful facility.
Aquarobics
With the availability of an experienced Instructor in the area, we are very fortunate to be able to offer weekly aquarobics sessions. Enjoy good company and try a new fun way to improve your fitness.
