Directions: Follow the Southern Scenic Route either Catlins or Te Anau ends. It is 20 minutes from Riverton or 15 minutes from Tuatapere. When coming into Orepuki, go past Orepuki Tavern and take the first turn to your left which is Mullins Road. Follow the road around the corner and you will see a large white rock, quartz, which is where the cottage is number 27

Welcome to Quartz Cottage - we would love you to come and stay. The cottage is modern, yet homely and fully equipped with everything you may wish for. It is 2 bedroomed but can sleep up to 8. Coupled with this you will experience awesome sea and pastoral views, magic sunsets, and be able to explore an area rich in natural resources, gold and semi precious gemstones, walks along the beach and through bush land and for the enthusiasts dive or hunt for your own dinner!

Prices are as follows:

$120 per night per couple
$25 per additional person
Children <5 free
If staying longer than 3 days, prices are very negotionable
Breakfast can be provided but you get to cook it at your leisure
